Den 7. aftapning i The Chess Malt Collection er frigivet her i dag.
Der er tale om en 22 år gammel aftapning fra Lochranza Distillery. Der er aftappet 213 flasker fra dette sherry hogshead, destilleret i maj måned 1997 og aftappet i august 2019.
White Bishop - C1 kommer ved fadstyrke på 51,7% og vil være at finde i forretningerne i dag.
Noter (The Chess Malt Collection):
Appearance: Brilliant and light golden sherry color.
Nose: Malty, floral, green apples and notes of nuts, toffee, honey and some light sherry aromas.
Palate: The taste is dominated by the typical Arran lemon/citrus fruity notes with spices, sweet dried fruits and a hint of white pepper. This dram needs some air and a drop of water to open up and show the most delicate aromas.
Finish: Delicate sherry, nutty, malted barley and with a salty finish
