Glen Darbach Single Speyside Malt - Burn Stewart Distillers for Marks & Spencer

"Some information about this whisky is as follows:
Only barley that is grown in Scotland is used and this is slightly peated throughout the malting process. The water used in the distilling process is from one of the tributaries of the River Spey. One of the unique characteristics of Glen Darbach Single Malt Scotch Whisky is actually created by the still that is used. The shape of this still is of a medium long neck. On the outside of the cardboard container some information is written about this drink. It states that the aroma is fruity with a long dry finish.
I find the taste of Glen Darbach Single Malt Scotch Whisky to be quite a bit smoother than some of the other single malt whiskies I have tried in the past. This is due to the fact that Glen Darbach Single Malt Scotch Whisky is 12 years old. I find it has a slightly smokey taste and I think this enhances the pleasure of drinking it.
There is also a slight heather and honey flavouring which makes this whisky very palatable indeed. According to the labelling on the bottle it is also a suitable drink for vegetarians.
The unique qualities I find with this whisky must come from the selection of wood used for the maturing stage and the air around the distillery.
Glen Darbach Single Malt Scotch Whisky is bottled by Burn Stewart Distillers of Glasgow, Scotland."
og
"Glen Darbach Single Malt Scotch Whisky comes from a distillery in the North Speyside area of Scotland. This is the largest of the malt producing regions of this country."

Glen Darbach smagte overraskende godt.
